Going Too Hard

Pushing too hard in a certain direction without assessing your direction can show you that you climbed a ladder that’s been set up the wrong wall.

Never Taking Breaks

Worrying About Others

What will they think of your plan? How will they treat you? Will they understand? Worrying too much about other people and how they factor into your success is one of the fastest ways to sabotage your goal. Choose a goal that matters to you, then forget about how others might view it.

Being Too Specific

Unfortunately, some goals just might be unattainable. If you set a goal that is only monetary or incredibly specific, it makes the target very clear – but also very tiny. It can be much more helpful to set a goal that is slightly more generalized or a smaller goal with future steps of progress.

Too Much Research

Just start, and try to let go of research and assessments that can slow you down or keep you from doing the actual work.
